The learning and development specialist creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for PDCU employees. Responsible for the administration the credit union’s Learning Management system, develops unique training programs to fulfill employee and credit union specific needs to maintain or improve job skills.
• Ensure team members are effectively and efficiently trained and cross trained in all phases of their position on the credit union’s core data processing system, intranet, products and services and other related software applications using various learning styles to ensure exceptional service to members.
• Oversee and administer the PDCU learning management system. Coordinate online training strategy and ensure that PDCU is getting the most benefit from the platform while maximizing functionality.
• Formulates training programs and events using research and determines instructional methods utilizing individual training, group instructions, demonstrations, and workshops; selects or develops training aids such as handbooks, visual aids and tutorials. Follow up with team development and track progress through testing both new and incumbents on a variety of topics through regular participation on team activities.
